If the prisoner's re-release is directed he/she will be subject to standard licence conditions. The ORU will consult with Commissioners on any further licence conditions that it is felt may be required to ensure that the prisoner can be released safely into the community. These are known as “prescribed” licence conditions and will be specific to the prisoner's circumstances (please see Licence Conditions section for further information).
Also, the panel, may decide to recommend the inclusion of other conditions tailored to the particular circumstances of the prisoner's case. It is important that if the prisoner has anything they want to say about any licence condition that he/she says it during the hearing.
